The Brighton office of Whitehead Ross Education and Consulting hosted a celebration last night marking two years since it first opened its doors in November 2016.
Over the past two years, the Brighton training rooms have developed a suite of courses in conjunction with the Skills Support for the Workforce ESF initiative, LLC and the National Skills Academy.
“I’m delighted to have recruited a great team of tutors and support staff to help develop our offering across Sussex. The courses running in Brighton continue to grow as people become aware of what’s on offer. Our office celebration is particularly significant as this month has proved to be our best month yet with a record number of enrolments on our courses” commented Ian Ross, MD.
The courses currently on offer include Sales and Marketing, Social Media for Business, Hospitality Supervision and Leadership, First Aid in the Workplace, Food Safety in Catering, English and Maths Skills and Support Work for Schools. ESOL evening classes have also recently been added and are proving popular as well as traineeship programmes for 16-24 year olds.
The staff at the Brighton office were joined by a select group of contacts from the Brighton community. Councillor Daniel Yates, of Brighton and Hove City Council, was in attendance and noted that “giving people across the region the opportunity to learn new skills and maximise their potential is key, whilst understanding that everyone’s journey to success is different”.
The team at Whitehead Ross in Brighton is certainly very proud to be part of such a great community and a contributor to the success of the region’s drive to help learners of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Cheers!
