Employability Officer (Swansea) – Temporary

Hours: 35 hours per week

The Employability Officer will deliver employability workshop-based activity, incorporating topics such as mock interviews, how to complete a job application and sources of job advertisements, along with short accredited courses (City and Guilds).

Marketing Officer (Brighton)

Hours: 12 hours per week: Monday and Wednesday
Fixed-term: Terminating on Friday 28th June 2019
Location: Brighton
Contract: Part-time
Salary: £10.00 per hour

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for leading on the promotion of our classroom-based courses in Brighton. Whitehead-Ross Education is delivering a variety of courses, including Support Work in Schools, Business Administration, English for Speakers of Other Languages and Basic ICT. The post holder will be responsible for engaging with the Jobcentres and local stakeholders, maintaining a presence on social media and undertaking marketing activities to ensure there are enough enrolments on each course.

ESOL Tutor (Brighton)

Hours: 16 hours per week: Monday/Wednesday (5pm – 9pm) and Tuesday/Thursday (2pm – 6pm)

Salary: £14.50 per hour (FTE £26,390)

In this role you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and development of our classroom-based ESOL courses, along with enrolling learners onto the courses. This will include delivering the City and Guilds Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life. This position is suitable for a self-starter who would enjoy a varied and fast paced role incorporating delivering learning provision.

Skills Tutor (Brighton)

Hours: 14 hours per week: Tuesday/Thursday (9am – 4pm)

In this role you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and development of our classroom-based courses, along with enrolling learners onto the courses. Traineeships Tutor (Brighton)

Hours: 21 hours per week
Fixed-term: Terminating on Friday 26th July 2019
Location: Brighton
Contract: Part-time
Salary: £14.50 per hour (FTE £26,390)

In this role you will be responsible for the planning, delivery and development of our Traineeship Programmes courses for 16-24 year olds, which consists of Employability Skills, Functional Skills in Maths and English, and vocational short-courses, along with employer engagement and sourcing work placements for learners. Vocational short-courses includes business administration, childcare, tourism and hospitality, and health and social care.

You will have a caseload of 8 learners at any one time.  Performance will be measured against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) covering learner recruitment, retention, progress, unit achievement, timely reviews, qualification achievements and progressions. Quality will be monitored and measured through the organisation’s comprehensive quality assurance and improvement arrangements.  You will require an Enhanced DBS Disclosure for this role, which the Company will pay for.
