We have been successful in our  Erasmus EU funding application to take 80 adult learners and staff on vocational work experience visits to Spain.

This new opportunity will provide 2 week work experience opportunities in Malaga to complement our adult education classroom courses and ESP customers, such as placements in Spanish schools for our Teaching Assistant learners and 4* hotels for our hospitality learners. The first cohort is planned from September.

This funding will benefit learners across our organisation in Wales, Swindon, Dorset and Brighton, with flights, accommodation and meals covered by the funding.

MD Ian Ross commented:

“Since WREC was founded, one of our long-term goals has been to establish the business as an international provider. We are ambitious and confident in our delivery models, as demonstrated by our expansion from one site to five across the southern UK, we and are now ready to take the next step in this growth. This is very welcome and exciting news to add value to our existing programmes.”

More details about the programme will be announced shortly.
