We are thrilled to announce a ground breaking achievement at Newport WRE. Gemma has become the first female learner to pass the Health and Safety exam with an impressive score of 87% as part of the Multiply Numeracy for Construction course.
Gemma tackled a numeracy booklet, calculating the number of bricks needed to build a wall. Her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. Her dedication, hard work, and passion for health and safety have set a new benchmark for all learners.
Reflecting on her experience, Gemma said, “Andy is a good teacher, makes it easy to learn and ask questions.” Her words highlight the supportive and effective teaching environment at Newport WRE.
This milestone is not just a personal victory for Gemma but a significant step towards promoting gender equality in the construction industry. Her success is a beacon of hope for other female learners, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and break barriers.
The Newport WRE community is incredibly proud of Gemma’s accomplishment. Her success highlights the quality of education and support provided by our institution. We believe this is just the beginning of many more achievements to come for Gemma and other aspiring learners.
