Rob found himself engaging with Whitehead-Ross Education (WRE) after a meeting with our National Careers Service Advisor, Jim. Rob is looking to start a career in security and landed on his feet with our fully funded Door Supervisor Level 2 course in Dorset. But Rob didn’t stop there. He has since completed his Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3, Basic IT for Employment Level 1, and an Employability qualification.
When asked about his learning experience at WRE, he said, “It is a really relaxed and friendly environment, with tutors who don’t go too fast, and are patient and personable. I felt able to ask questions without feeling silly.”
Rob’s new qualifications will make him much more employable when he starts job searching again, alongside all the new skills he has learned. When asked what advice he would give anyone looking to return to learning as an adult, he encouraged people to “just do it, take the chance.”
