After an external assessment, completed by the Independent Assessment Service, we are delighted and proud to announce that we have retained the Welsh Government’s Small Workplace Health Award (Gold) for health and wellbeing in the workplace.
We have held the Gold Award since 2014.
The Gold Award shows that we are committed to creating a better working environment. We have demonstrated fair and consistent policies, along with actions designed to promote a happier and healthier workforce, helping to improve productivity, reduce demands on our health services and promote work-life balance.
The Awards are run by Healthy Working Wales, part of NHS Public Health Wales, and supports employers to improve the health and wellbeing of their staff, engage and communicate with employees more effectively, and helps to achieve a range of business and organisational outcomes. This includes organisational performance, productivity and reducing sickness absence.
We are proud of this huge accolade for WREC which encompasses our organisational ethos.
