WHITEHEAD-Ross Education and Consulting (WREC) is to deliver the government’s new programme to help unemployed people in Adur and Worthing.
WREC has been chosen to deliver the new Department for Work and Pensions Restart programme by prime provider Fedcap Employment.
Over the course of almost five years, WREC will support thousands of people in the area on their journeys towards employment.
Restart has been designed to support people who have been unemployed for between 12-18 months.
The Restart programme was announced last year by chancellor Rishi Sunak in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting economic downturn. It will start on June 28.
WREC will benefit from using Fedcap’s range of employment interventions, including a healthy mix of face-to-face and virtual support for jobseekers. A variety of short qualifications will also be on offer to help jobseekers retrain.

We recognise that younger workers and those aged over 50 have particularly been affected by Covid-19 and we are ready to provide support.”
