Employability Skills is a level 1, City & Guilds accredited course, fully accessible with no previous experience necessary. It is a good refresher, or starting point, to help build confidence for those who want to improve their employability skills to help them gain future employment.
The course consists of a mixture of practical skills and confidence building through thought-provoking activities.
Participants will complete a Cover Letter, build or update a CV, and gain interview skills to build confidence to assist when applying for job roles. Support will be given with job searching, completing applications and identifying suitable career paths.
Locations: Cornwall, Dorset
Requirements:
Cornwall – Aged 15+, living in a Cornwall postcode area, unemployed or economically inactive.
Dorset -Aged 19+, living in a Dorset postcode, unemployed or earning less than £25,000 per year.
