Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 2 and 3

ILM LEVEL 2

This course is ideal for those who have some experience of leading teams or are looking to move in to a managerial role. By the end of this course you will understand the difference between leadership and management.  You will learn about different leadership styles and gain insight in to your own, you will also learn about the importance of effective communication and how to become a better communicator.

The course consists of two units, with continuous support and assessment from the tutor, and there is no final exam.

ILM Level 3 Award

This course is ideal for those who have  experience of leading teams or are looking to move in to a managerial role. By the end of this course you will understand what makes a great team and a great leader. 

The course consists of completing 2 units from the following choices

• understanding leadership.
• understanding performance management.
• understanding mental health in the workplace.

The award is completed through written assignments.

Locations: Dorset, Coast to Capital LEP Region (Greater Brighton, West Sussex and East Surrey)

Requirements:

Brighton – employees of SMEs (as part of the Coast to Capital Programme)

Dorset – Aged 16+, living in Dorset postcode area, unemployed or earning less than £20,319 p.a
