ILM LEVEL 2

This course is ideal for those who have some experience of leading teams or are looking to move in to a managerial role. By the end of this course you will understand the difference between leadership and management.  You will learn about different leadership styles and gain insight in to your own, you will also learn about the importance of effective communication and how to become a better communicator.

The course consists of two units, with continuous support and assessment from the tutor, and there is no final exam.

ILM Level 3

This course is ideal for those who have  experience of leading teams or are looking to move in to a managerial role. By the end of this course you will understand what makes a great team and a great leader. You will learn how to motivate and develop people to enhance performance. You will also learn how to manage underperformance and deal with stress management.

The course consists of six units, with continuous support and assessment from the tutor, and there is no final exam.

Locations: Dorset, Coast to Capital LEP Region (Greater Brighton, West Sussex and East Surrey), Hull & East Yorkshire LEP Region

Requirements:

Brighton – employees of SMEs (as part of the Coast to Capital Programme)

Dorset – Aged 16+, living in Dorset postcode area, unemployed or earning less than £17k p.a

Hull – employees of SMEs with less than £250 million turnover
